Martin Edwards, a fellow local history enthusiast and pub historian, has identified a pub at 29 Park Street in Cheltenham (presumably the original numbering) that he thinks might have traded as the Bull. The reference is from 1844.
The present day 29 Park Street is an ordinary terraced house on the west side with no distinguishing features to indicate that it might have once been a pub.

Although nothing in the way of a public house / beer house is marked in Park Street in the 1855-7 Old Town Survey map (so the Bull Inn had presumably closed by then).
On the 1855-7 Old Town Survey map, street numbering runs from the High Street up along the western side with no. 29 being in the same place as now.
I did find a W. Austin listed under “Beer Retailers” in the 1847 Hunt & Co. Directory, and also in the 1848, 1850 and 1851 Edward’s Directories. In the 1852 Edward’s Directory the address changed to 30 Park Street for some reason, but it still seems to offer a pretty good continuity.
