THE BRIDGE INN
Up Querns Hill, over the dual carriage way bridge and turn right into Cotswold Avenue. The large building on the corner is Bridge House the site of – THE BRIDGE INN Mentioned in an 1878 Directory. In the 1881 census, George Hulbert from Ewen was a Shoemaker & Inn Keeper. The Bridge Inn is not mentioned in the 1891 petty sessions divisional licensing records. It was probably a cottage with a beer license which was demolished and the present building put up.
