Cheltenham Original Brewery were the owners of the Queens Head in 1891 and 1903. The premise licence was for a beer house and during those years it had a constant annual rateable value of £17.0s.0d.
The Queens Head was demolished when Tewkesbury Road was widened.

Alan Jones commented: “Not sure where Newbury cottages popped up from, but The Victoria Brewery is now Victoria House and a coal merchants (I looked back a bit and in an earlier Annuaire from 1867 there is an advertisement for a George Hodge & Co. Malsters & Brewers, Tewkesbury Rd. established 1824, not sure if it become the Victoria Brewery, or was anything to do with the Vauxhall Brewery further down. By the time of the 1860 Annuaire they are listed as Lawrence & Hodge Brewers, Tewkesbury Road though).”
