Opposite the foot of Cecily Hill tucked away in a corner at No 1 Park Street, there was a small shop that was run in 1894 by “Frederick Jobbins, Beer retailer at 28 Park Street”, later to be a Grocers and Off license of “EA Jackson, Licensed retailer of Beer & Stout”. It was for a long time an outlet for draught beer from Joshua Smith’s brewery in Coxwell Street. Now a private residence.
