Founded by Edward Fordham Flower in 1831.

Registered February 1888.

Acquired by J.W. Green of Luton in 1954 who then changed their name to Flower’s Breweries Ltd.

The brewery was closed in 1968 when Whitbread Flowers merged with West Country Breweries to form Whitbread Flowers Ltd.

Brewery demolished.

The Flowers name was then used at the Cheltenham Brewery.
