The Woolpack Inn was closed c.1865 and was demolished c.1879. At the time of its closure it was described as an ‘ancient hostelry.’ The Woolpack Inn was located just to the south of the old Riverside Hotel. Trafalgar House, a dignified Victorian house, was constructed on the site.
