Cheltenham Chronicle, Saturday 22nd February 1930 – At the adjourned annual licensing sessions on Thursday at Stonehouse, before Mr T. Miles (in the chair) and other magistrates, the police lodged objections to the renewal of thirteen public houses, including the New Inn, Randwick, owned by Stroud Brewery. After a long hearing the Bench decided to refer the New Inn (and twelve others) for compensation on the grounds of redundancy.
