The New Inn was once a tied house of the Forwood Brewery (Playne & Sons), Minchinhampton. Latterly it sold Stroud Brewery Ales. It was valued by the Stroud Brewery for £1,000 in 1900. The New Inn is now a private residence called, appropriately, New Inn Cottage.
