Situated just off the High Street at No.4 Liverpool Place. The Liverpool Vaults was a Cheltenham & Hereford Brewery house and closed down in 1958 following the death of landlady Annie Millborough May Allen. Her son, Roger Allen, contacted me and explained that Cheltenham & Hereford Brewery seemed to accelerate the demise of the Liverpool Vaults by not assigning a new tenant.
The site of the Liverpool Vaults is now integrated into the John Lewis store.
