Goffs are a family based brewery established in Winchcombe in 1994. Marcus and Alison Goff opened Goffs Restaurant and Bar in the Promenade on Saturday August 14th 1999. The restaurant was set in one of the most elegant of Cheltenham’s Regency terraces – to the left of the Cheltenham Borough Council offices. Good food and locally brewed beer were on offer.
The restaurant became Laze Daze.
The property is now known simply as 81 Prom and provides luxury guesthouse accommodation in the very heart of Cheltenham. Their website boasts that ’81 Prom has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard, whilst retaining many of the original features of its listed building. Now you can enjoy a break in Cheltenham, looking out over the Promenade and Royal Well, whilst staying in the very comfortable bedrooms of this traditional Regency Building.
