The Coneygre Inn is mentioned in the 1891 census. At that time William Steele was a servant at the Coneygre Inn on the Bisley Road and the proprietor was Albert Hogg. This suggests that the premises was the same as the New House (Target Inn) in Bisley Road where Albert Hogg is also named as licensee in 1903.
