The Stroud Motorcycle Club held their Cotswold Cup motorcycling event at the Bell Inn at Sapperton which, in the 1990’s, attracted participants from all over the world.
The picturesque Bell Inn is now a popular pub restaurant with good quality food. It won the Gloucestershire dining pub of the year award from the Good Food Guide in 2002. The Bell was the 2005 Taste of the West Dining Pub of the Year. The Bell is owned by the local estate so there is no brewery tie.
