Martin Edwards, a fellow pub historian, has compiled a list of pubs in Cheltenham in the year 1844. Included is the Young Prince of Wales in Albion Street. It is also mentioned in the 1881 census.
There is no reference to the Young Prince of Wales in the 1891 licensing book.
