The most interesting thing about the Wine Vaults is that in 1903 it was tied to the Hook Norton Brewery. This was the only outlet for Hook Norton beer in Gloucestershire at that time. The Wine Vaults, which was behind the town hall, closed down many years ago and is now an antique shop. Thankfully, Hook Norton Brewery survives and still provides beer to pubs in the Cotswolds.
