The Whole Hog, which had scrubbed wooden floors and sold five real ales, closed down in June 1999. £325,000 was spent by owners Whitbread transforming the bar into Casa, which offered food and drink in a Mediterranean atmosphere.
The premises became the Residence Bar, and then Ha! Ha! Bar and Kitchen.
It is currently All Bar One.
