The licensing records and contemporary directories give the location of the Waifers Arms in Hinton, but it was actually in Halmore about a mile to the south-east. The pub was on the left hand side of the road approaching Purton, with the Fox & Goose on the right hand side of the road just a few yards away.
I have found no records of the Waifers Arms after 1903.
