The Victoria Inn was originally called the Staffordshire Knot. The Victoria Inn is listed in an 1859 reference. Numbered 9 Oxford Street in 1859, 18 Oxford Street in 1919 Kellys Directory and 22 Oxford Street in 1936 reference.

The Victoria was located off London Road by the Stagecoach in Gloucester bus depot. The Victoria Inn  was purchased from Whitbread by the Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries in the early 1990’s. Banks’s later sold the Victoria to Pubfolio Ltd and the pub closed.
