The Swan is on the southwest corner of the village crossroads. I cannot find a reference to the Swan Inn in the petty sessional divisional records of 1891 and 1903. The Worcestershire boundary is only a quarter of a mile away. Staunton may have once been in the Worcestershire licensing administration.
Michelle and Rob Chamberlayne took over the running of the Swan Inn and added the Royal Exchange in Hartpury and the Red Lion at Wainlodes to their portfolio of pubs. Sadly due mainly to the coronavirus outbreak, subsequent enforced restrictions, staff shortages and a decline in customer numbers the Swan is currently closed. Please go to their website for updates
