In his list of Cheltenham pubs that existed in the early reign of Queen Victoria – way back in the year 1844 – Martin Edwards has identified that there was a beer house in the district of Arle called the Stag & Hounds.
There is no detail on the precise location of this long-lost, and forgotten, pub.
