The Spring Inn was the nearest public house to Carpenter’s Cainscross Brewery but sold beer from the rival Stroud Brewery Company. The Spring Inn was valued at £600 in 1920. The property is now residential and called Spring House. It is not yet known when the Spring Inn pulled its last pints, but I have found no references to it after 1927.
