In August 2007 permission was given to turn staff accommodation into homes. Some of the buildings date back to the 16th century.
The Grade II listed Larkham farmhouse was to be converted into four flats and the long barn converted into three cottages. The restaurant was due to be turned into two one-bedroom homes. The bar, a modern extension, was due to be demolished.
