Martin Edwards has compiled a list of all known public houses that were trading in Cheltenham in the year 1844. He lists the Queens Head Tap in Trafalgar Street. Presumably Trafalgar Street once extended into what is now Montpellier Spa Road which is at the rear of the Queens Hotel.
