This was possibly in the High Street. It may have been a wine and spirit merchants with license to sell intoxicating liquor off the premises. It could have stood on the site of the Exchange Inn (Knot of Rope). There is a beer bottle in the local museum with the embossed legend ‘James Michael. Thornbury.’ Details to be confirmed.
