The Old Rangoon is (or was?) a pub attached to a caravan park at the Cotswold Water Park to the north of Whelford. The 1996 CAMRA ‘Real Ale in Gloucestershire described the Old Rangoon as having a ‘large function room with almost every square inch of wall space covered by pictures and exotic knick-knacks. Various special events with discos and live entertainment.’ Wadworth 6X was the real ale on offer.
