The Old George is still trading as a traditional village pub. The building is a 200 year old listed building with whitewashed walls and stone-tiled gabled roofs.

The Old George was transformed into a trendy young persons venue called ‘Walter Mitty’s’ in the 1980’s. The pub reverted back to its true identity in the mid 1990’s.
Jamie Cullum, the modern Jazz / Pop star, used to regularly entertain the crowds at the Old George Inn.
