Gloucester Journal, February 1791 – Now selling at John Twyford’s, Gardener, at the New Inn, Wotton-under-Edge, a large quantity of exceedingly good early Lancashire Cabbage plants; where also may be had, Kitchen garden seeds of all kinds, new and good.


The New Inn came the Vine Inn. Sold in 1877 by the Cheltenham Original Brewery to the County of Gloucester Bank  It was converted to Lloyds Bank in 1897.

There was a brewery at the premises in 1863 (Joseph Osborne)
