A list of Cheltenham pubs in the year 1844 has been compiled by fellow pub researcher Martin Edwards. The list includes the Montpellier Brewery in Commercial Street, which is described as a beer house. The landlord / owner George Meek was licensee at the Noahs Ark pub in St Georges Street in 1878.
