The Merry Fellow had an annual rateable value of £22.10s.0d. in 1891. This seems very high considering that the Merry Fellow had a license to sell intoxicating liquor off the premises only. Mrs Chandler, the owner in 1891, is listed as residing at Haresfield (but not necessarily at the Merry Fellow). There is no mention of the premises in the 1903 licensing book.

I have no other details at present. There is, however, a Merryfields in Haresfield. GL10 3EF.
