The Kings Head, on the junction of Well Hill and New Road, was the nearest pub to the Forwood Brewery. A huge pike caught in Woodchester Park lake was prominently displayed in a glass case over the mantlepiece. The Kings Head closed down in the 1960’s. The property is now residential and called the Point.

Kings Head, Parsons Court

There was once a passageway from the High Street to Parsons Court called the Hole in the Wall. This was by the pharmacy and has now been filled in.  Access to Parsons Court is now gained via the car park. The Kings Head was at 2, The Old Bakery. I have no other information relating to this Kings Head.
