Elizabeth Maule was the owner of the Farmers Arms in 1891 and she leased it to the Cheltenham Original Brewery. It was licensed as a beer house with an annual rateable value of £15.5s.0d. (unchanged twelve years later in 1903). Elizabeth sold the pub to the Cheltenham Original Brewery and it was part of their increasing tied estate in 1903.
