The landlord of the Beehive, in Bouncer’s Lane, Prestbury, died aged 67 in the intensive care unit at Cheltenham General Hospital on Sunday, April 12th  2020 after a two-week battle with Coronavirus. Tributes were paid to family man Alexander Grierson who was known to all by his nickname, Boyzie. He was a popular, “witty”, “generous” and “fun-loving” Cheltenham pub landlord.
