The International was probably on the same site as the Three Horses or Criterion Inn.


Gloucester Journal, Saturday 20th July 1872 – Sunday evening drinking: Mr J.M. Rowe of the International Inn, Commercial Road, was charged under two summonses, with keeping his house open during prohibited hours on Sunday night last, and also for allowing gambling in his house.

The bench consultated and the Chairman then said that being a first offence they would deal with the defendant leniently. Fined 1/- , and costs.
